increased production in Slovenia 14.3% to 11,296 in January 2001 from 9,883 in
January 2000, according to provisional totals provided to just-auto.com.
The volume, including only small car Clio, represented increases of: 16% for
four-door hatchback to 6,952 from 5,992; and 11.6% for two-door hatchback to
4,344 from 3,891.

In 2000 versus 1999, output grew 4.1% to 122,946 from 118,132. Totals rose
11.6% for four-door hatchback to 76,449 from 68,517, yet fell 6.3% for two-door
hatchback to 46,497 from 49,615.

The plant, named Revoz dd, expects to make 119,000-120,000 Clio this year.
It employs 2,200 people including 715 workers in each of two shifts.
Revoz is owned: 54% by Renault; 30.28% by IMV Holding doo; 12.68% by Nova ljubljanska
banka dd; and 3.04% by the Slovenian state.
