The Rolls-Royce Phantom is soon to make its debut in India. The Mumbai BMW dealer is about to import the first two and they are already sold.

The price of each is INR35 million (€625,000).

Under new legislation, cars above $US40,000 can be imported without homologation and the cars are expected by November.

DaimlerChrysler has already introduced the Maybach brand in India, a move that prompted a lot of interest. But no sales have been reported so far.
