Supplier acquisition company Evtec has completed its buy of the UK’s JVM Castings.

Established in 1929, Worcester based JVM has supplied body castings and powertrain assemblies to Jaguar Land Rover and its predecessor companies for 60 years.

Evtec chairman David Roberts said: “[We are] consolidating several key suppliers that are strategic to OEMs, especially in super lightweight materials for body and powerpack parts and assemblies. Evtec has a growing order book of over GBP800m to deliver over the next eight years and the acquisition of JVM will ensure that we have the necessary capacity to meet peak demand whilst winning additional new business”.

JVM chairman Rob Murcott said the supplier had been in family ownership for 98 years.

JVM will join Evtec’s global network which has been acquiring strategic tier one automotive suppliers switching to electrification since 2021.
