Romanian car producer and Renault affiliate Dacia will present its first electric model, the Spring, on 15 October during the Renault eWays online event, dedicated to electric mobility.

Dacia will start selling the electric model in the first half of 2021, romania-insider.com reported.

The Spring EV will be “the most affordable electric car in Europe,” according to Renault.

Romania media estimated a price range of EUR15,000 to EUR20,000 for this new model.

It will have a relatively modest range of 200km (120 miles).

Between 15 and 26 October, Renault Group will reveal its vision of mobility by presenting two 100% electric models: a concept Renault electric crossover based on the new CMF-EV platform dedicated to electric vehicles and the Spring for Dacia.
