Dacia first half 2023 sales rose 24.2% year on year to 345,432 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Passenger sales reached 342,809 units taking market market share up 0.2% to 4.7%.
The Renault group Romanian brand’s four main models achieved growth with the Spring up 38%, Sandero 24%, Duster 13% and Jogger 130%.
Dacia claimed to have been second in European retail sales with an 8.4% share. This is the highest position the brand has reached.
