Cummins says Amy Adams will join the Electrified Power business segment as vice president – Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Technologies.

In the newly-created role, Adams will oversee the Hydrogenics business and the other investments and partnerships in Cummins’ fuel cell portfolio.

Cummins is investing in two primary types of fuel cells: Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) and Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC), as well as hydrogen production.

“I am delighted Amy will lead this challenging work, drive critical areas of technology leadership and help position the company for success over the next 100 years,” said Ewald.

“In her nearly 25 years at Cummins, Amy has accumulated diverse leadership experiences having led complex businesses on three continents for the company, as well as holding positions in business development, product management and market management.”
