Cooper Tyre de Mexico has relocated its offices from El Salto to a new location in Guadalajara within the Los Arrayanes industrial park.

The new 22,000-square-foot office spans two floors and houses the sales, marketing, customer service, logistics and finance teams, which serve Cooper’s customers throughout Latin America.

“Growth in the Latin America market is an important part of Cooper’s strategic plan,” said Latin America Tyre Operations  and Europe Tyre Operations managing director, Luis Ceneviz.

“With the opening of new markets in the region, the increase in tyre production at our joint venture manufacturing facility near Guadalajara, expanded distribution of our products and alliances in South America, establishing this new office will help us to provide service to the market and our dealers as we continue to grow in Latin America.”

Data from just-auto’s QUBE service shows Cooper has eight tyre manufacturing facilities worldwide with four in the US and one in each if the UK, Serbia, Mexico and China.

It employs slightly more than 9,000 people worldwide.
