Foton has started Colombian assembly from KD kits in the country’s capital of Bogotá, Colombia. It is the first Chinese automaker to assemble in the country.

The 7,000 sq mfactory has planned initial output of 3,000 units per year on two lines. The plant initially is building Tunland pickups and will add SUVs and mini trucks later this year.
