This year Cesvi expanded into the environment sector. Colombia has an estimated vehicle parc of about 4.5m vehicles, 5% of which are ‘scrapped’ every year due to obsolescence but usually end up abandoned in fields or parking lots with weeds growing through them.
Cesvi‘s main shareholder is Mapfre, a Spanish insurance company.
