Toyota Motor expects to sell nearly 300,000 vehicles in China this year, up on the 183,000, including Lexus, sold in 2005.

“This year maybe we can sell nearly 300,000 units, maybe a little less,” Toyota’s China representative Etsuo Hattori told Reuters.
Hattori reportedly said that in 2004 and 2005 Toyota sales in China had grown 50% to 60% a year.
