Volkswagen‘s Skoda car division may soon begin producing the Octavia passenger car model in China, according to Access Asia.

Production could start as early as next year, VW chief executive Bernd Pischetsrieder said.
Pischetsrieder added that Skoda could manufacture at least 50,000 Octavias in China, without specifying when production would reach this level.
