The company sold 167,000 cars in China in the first 11 months of this year, up 56% making it the biggest market for Skoda accounting for one-fifth of the brand’s global sales.

Skoda already produces passenger cars in China. It produced 131,779 cars in the country in 2009 and wanted to produce 500,000 cars in China in the future.
