China Automotive Systems shipped over 1.1m power steering system units last year, 42.5% growth year-over-year.
“This milestone paves the way for [us] to approach our target of total 3m units by 2010,” CEO Qizhou Wu said. “We look forward to further expanding our market share.”
The supplier, based in China’s Hubei Province, supplies local auto manufacturers such as China FAW Group, Donfeng Auto Group Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Beiqi Foton Motor and Chery Automobile.
