Nissan Motor reported sales of 95,200 vehicles in China in January, a decrease of 0.4% year-on-year.
In 2013, the company recorded sales of 1,266,200 vehicles, up 17.2% from 2012. The company posted a 70.4% increase in sales in December 2013 and a 95.7% increase in November 2013.
“When factoring in the number of actual working days for the month, sales were 15% better than the same month last year,” the company said.
By contrast, Toyota posted an 18% increase in its China sales to 85,600 vehicles last month, while sales at Honda jumped 33% to 63,128 vehicles.
