DaimlerChrysler has announced the opening of a new outlet for its exclusive luxury brand Maybach in Shanghai.
The centre is the brand’s second sales outlet in China and the first in Shanghai, one of Asia’s fastest-growing cities.
The first Maybach Centre in China was opened a few weeks ago in Beijing, and the brand’s market presence will be further strengthened in Asia in the first half of 2005 when the third Maybach Centre opens in the city of Guangzhou.
Around 20 Maybach Centres have been set up in Europe, Asia and the Middle East since the Centre of Excellence was opened in Sindelfingen in the summer of 2002.
In addition to the Maybach Centres, the brand has also established 70 Maybach studios in the United States.
