MG plans to launch its GS SUV at the Shanghai show, scheduled for April. The price of the vehicle will range from CNY120,000 (US$19,592) to CNY160,000.

The SUV will come with two engine options – a 167hp/250Nm 1.5 turbo mated to a seven-speed DCT and a 220hp/350nm 2.0 turbo matched to a six-speed DCT. Four wheel drive will be available, CarNewsChina.com reported.

The MG GS will feature ‘InkaNet’ infotainment system, downhill assist system, electronic vehicle stability control, electronic parking brake, engine start-stop  and heated front seats.
