JAC says it has launched the newest generation pure-electric vehicle iEV4 officially in China on 4 July. JAC says tha iEV is the top selling pure-electric vehicle in Chinese market and the market holdings are more than 6,000 units, which is the most common pure-electric vehicle on the street.
This is the fourth generation JAC pure-electric vehicle which has the newest JAC design elements with 19.2kwh lithium iron phosphate battery. The vehicle can achieve the maximum 160km extended range in urban and the maximum speed can reach 95kmph, and it can achieve the maximum 200km extended range under the 60kmph constant speed.
JAC says that the JAC iEV4 adopts two kinds of charging modes – the quick charger is 2.5 hours and slow charger takes 8 hours.
The Chinese government is keen to encourage sales of new energy vehicles, incluiding BEVs and hybrids, but sales thus far have been slow.
