Nissan Motor‘s Infiniti plans to increase local production in China, following the Chinese government’s innovation and economic transition driven policies.
Infiniti China MD and Dongfeng Infiniti president Daniel Kirchert said, “We will deepen our localisation strategy in the key areas of brand, product, production and management.”

The company has an annual sales target of 100,000 vehicles for 2018 and it plans to manufacture over 50% of these vehicles locally, Ecns.cn reported.
Meanwhile, Infiniti plans to open 25 to 30 new dealers every year in China with an aim to increase presence in small cities.
