Ford sales in China rose 28% year on year to 40,978 vehicles in February. Year to date volume fell 15.69% to 71,954 vehicles, however.
The significant increase in February, and decrease in the first two months’ sales was due to the changed timing of the Spring Festival which this year began late in January.
Changan Ford Mazda passenger car sales rose 11% to 21,092 last month while the Jiangling Motors commercial vehicle venture boosted volume 48% to 18,264.
