Changan Ford posted record sales in July with 18,255 vehicles, taking total sales this year to 170,053 units, up 38% compared with the January – July period last year.

The newly launched 2011 Focus achieved sales of 11,413 units and has now achieved total sales of 94,559 this year, up 30% on 2009.
Fiesta sales are running 90% ahead this year so far at 42,923.
General manager Nigel Harris said July was the fifth consecutive month for selling over 10,000 Focus models. He added: “Given the fact that overall industry sales in China have slowed down in the past few months, we’re pleased that sales are up almost 38% for the year.”
The Mondeo achieved sales of 29,544 for the year so far, an increase of 16%; and S-Max sales rose 20% to 3,027 units.
