Pirelli says the European Commission has “unconditionally” approved its purchase by China National Tire & Rubber Corporation (ChemChina).
“The original timing for closing the transaction with Camfin and Long-Term Investments Luxembourg is confirmed – during summer 2015- and all parties involved are working to finalise the other closing conditions in the shortest possible time-frame,” said a statement from ChemChina.
