The model’s launch followed the display of a concept at the Shanghai motor show in April 2003.
Changan said 2006 MPV sales volume rose 33.7% to 150,000 units taking 3.66% of the Chinese market. Volume for 2010 is forecast to reach 400,000units.
The car is 4,445 long, 1,768mm wide and 1,640 mm high. The engine is a two-litre I4, developing 102kW of power and 186Nm of torque.
