Nanjing Automotive Corporation (NAC) has named London-based Automotive PR to handle international promotional activity for its recently re-launched MG brand.
NAC is one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers and, following the acquisition of the assets of the former MG Rover, is close to inaugurating its newly built factory in Nanjing, China, which houses equipment transferred – with British engineers’ help – from the Longbridge production facility near Birmingham, UK.
This year the company will launch a range of updated MG models with the Longbridge facility playing an “important” role in research and development and building some TF models, NAC said.
The company plans to coincide its launches with its 60th anniversary celebrations at the end of March.
