A report by Reuters said the recall was being made because of potential defects in shock absorbers.
In a statement, the company said vehicles for recall were BMW 5, 6 and 7 series cars, including 2,131 imported units, produced between 9 January and 26 April this year.
The defects have not led to any accidents, the company added.
