Unique to China, the long wheelbase version of the new BMW 5 series sedan making its world debut at Auto China 2010 in Shanghao today was developed in Germany and is assembled at the automaker’s local joint venture in Shenyang.

“The longer wheelbase, superior suspension technology and a wide range of features exclusive to BMW ensure outstanding driving qualities and long-distance comfort,” BMW said in a statement.
