CHINA: Beijing Jeep to built Mitsubishi Outlander SUV from 2004
Part DaimlerChrysler-owned Mitsubishi Motors is to build its new Outlander sport utility model at the Chrysler Group's Chinese joint venture from the first quarter of 2004, reports said. The Outlander, sold in Japan as the Airtrek, will be built by Beijing Jeep with a 2.4-litre petrol engine and a sales target of about 20,000 for 2004.
