Jidu and battery maker CATL have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote the R&D, mass production and application of new energy technology and products for robot cars (or ‘robocars’).

Jidu, the joint venture between Baidu and Chinese automaker Geely, was launched in 2021.
