Automotive parts maker Linamar Corp. posted higher quarterly profits on Wednesday thanks in part to a strong performance by its industrial business.
According to Reuters, Linamar reported earnings from continuing operations of $C20.2 million ($US14.5 million), or 29 Canadian cents a share, for the period ended March 31, compared with $C12.3 million ($8.9 million), or 17 Canadian cents a share, in the year-earlier period.
