Canada’s monthly new motor vehicle sales rose 10.8% in June to 141,882 units, more than offsetting losses in the preceding two months and reflecting increases in all provinces, Statistics Canada said.

The data-gathering agency said preliminary industry figures suggest a drop of 6% in July, Dow Jones reported.

In June, sales of passenger cars rose 12.9% to 60,492 units while truck sales increased 9.3%.
