General Motors of Canada on Monday claimed its size is allowing it to offer an aggressive new incentive package supported by a major marketing effort.
Company president Michael Grimaldi said: “Starting [Monday] we are offering a simple program of zero percent financing for up to 60 months on virtually every vehicle we sell. And with a new marketing campaign GM of Canada will aggressively remind Canadians that no manufacturer offers them more new models, with such great quality and great prices. GM is Canada’s number one automaker and we intend to demonstrate how our leadership helps Canadians get more.”
“GM brought 9 new vehicles to market last year and we are launching 17 new cars and trucks this year, more than any other car company. GM sells over 90 models in Canada, more than any one else. It is this presence in the market that allows us to offer the most choice, be the most aggressive and offer Canadians affordable new vehicles,” added Grimaldi.
Beginning on Monday, GM launched a new national marketing campaign that communicates the leadership position the company has built. GM of Canada has more dealers than any manufacturer, offers more variety of cars and trucks than any manufacturer and is aggresively building a reputation for producing quality vehicles and being first in the marketplace.
