General Motors showed its Cadillac Lyriq luxury EV, in France earlier this week but did not announce a price.

GM Europe head Jaclyn McQuaid told Reuters: “When you look at the battery electric vehicle market in France, it is the luxury market that grew to the greatest extent.”

GM last October said it was launching Lyriq sales in Switzerland at a starting price of CHF82,000 (US$93,100).

No France price was stated at the launch event in Paris.

The Lyriq can be ordered online from 23 March and a Paris showroom is planned.

In 2023, Cadillac delivered 9,000 Lyriqs, with fewer than 2,400 in H1 2023, Reuters noted.
