Chinese EV maker BYD said it had launched a new version of the Seal EV.

It was the firm’s first model with LiDAR sensors, Reuters reported.

BYD said the 2025 Seal, unveiled in China this week, would sell at prices from CNY175,800 (US$24,515.41) to CNY239,800 ($33,439).

The automaker did not say when it would be available for export.

Prices undercut the rival Tesla Model 3 by $10,000 in China.
