BYD has delivered 50 T3 pure electric vans to Nassau, capital of the Bahamas, partnering with car dealership, Easy Car Sales.
Acting as BYD representative in the market, sales manager of BYD America Auto Sales Division, Neva Zhang signed an agreement with the director of Easy Car Sales (ECS), John Farmer, for a deal which includes the automaker’s range of products covering sedans to SUVs, as well as after-sales support.
Since becoming BYD’s distributor, ECS has received almost 100 orders for BYD EVs, such as T3, e5, M3, Yuan EV, Tang EV and others.
Established in 2009, ECS has now became the first pure EV dealership in the Bahamas (only referring only to new car dealerships, as used cars are excluded). DHL has also purchased six units T3 for its delivery fleet in the Bahamas.
BYD is one of China’s largest privately owned enterprises. Since its start in 1995 the company has expanded with operations in more than 50 countries and regions.
