
BorgWarner has announced more investment in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
It will build a new manufacturing plant producing power electronics components and electric motors.
The new factory in WTC 2 Industrial Park is expected to be operational by Q2 2024.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 6 July.
This will be the supplier’s first facility in San Luis Potosi integrating a clean room and a product validation testing laboratory.
The laboratory will focus on inverters and enable the development of new technology in house.
