The new factory in WTC 2 Industrial Park is expected to be operational by Q2 2024.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 6 July.

This will be the supplier’s first facility in San Luis Potosi integrating a clean room and a product validation testing laboratory.

The laboratory will focus on inverters and enable the development of new technology in house.

BorgWarner has another factory in San Luis Potosi’s Tres Naciones industrial park assembling integrated electric drive units (iDM) for LEVs and components for eMotors.
