Toyota do Brasil plans to increase annual Etios vehicle production at its Sorocaba plant in São Paulo from 74,000 units to 108,000 units.
The increase, at the beginning of 2016, is to meet increased demand and will involve additional spending of around BRL100m (US$38.57m).

At the time of its launch in Brazil in September 2012, Etios sales ranged between 2,000 units and 3,000 units per month. After product and dealer network improvements, sales have now reached between 6,000 units and 7,000.
