PSA Peugeot-Citroen has recalled 130,930 vehicles in Brazil for a potential fire risk.
The automaker told AFP affected cars include 88,792 Citroen C4 Pallas, C4 VTR and C4 Hatch models, as well as 42,138 Peugeot 307 Hatch, Sedan, CC and SW models.
The affected units were manufactured between 2002 and 2012. A noise protection cover under the bonnet could come loose and fall on the engine at high temperatures, AFP said citing an engineer at Citroen.
