BorgWarner has appointed Kevin Nowlan as EVP and CFO, effective 1 April.

Nowlan comes to BorgWarner from Meritor, serving as SVP and CFO since 2013 and was given the additional responsibility of president of the Trailer and Components businesses in 2018.

Before joining Meritor in 2007, Nowlan worked for GMAC and the General Motors’ Treasurer’s Office for 12 years in a variety of roles.

“His broad financial and operational experience gives me confidence he will excel in our culture and continue our long legacy of financial discipline.”

The supplier added Thomas McGill will succeed Anthony Hensel as VP and controller, effective 1 April.

In the role, McGill will serve as the company’s principal accounting officer with responsibilities for accounting, tax and enterprise risk management. 

Hensel will transition to the role of VP of Special Projects effective from the same date.
