The new Spartanburg-made BMW X6 SUV is available to order now in UK.
The third generation of this big SUV uses an evolution of the platform which debuted with 2015’s BMW 7 Series. Length is up by 26mm to 4,935mm. It also has a 42mm longer wheelbase.
As well as US build, there should be additional assembly in Russia at AvtoTOR’s Kaliningrad plant.
Among the equipment improvements, adaptive LED headlights are standard, while options include the BMW Laserlight long-range non-dazzle system and an illuminated front grille.
Three equipment grades will be available at launch: Sport, M Sport and M Performance.
M Sport adds a range of specific trim and styling details over the entry-level grade, while M Performance adds features such as a sportier suspension and differential, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system.
