European automotive supplier association, CLEPA, has appointed VP operating officer, Arnaud de David-Beauregard, as its new president, effective 1 January.
David-Beauregard was a member of the management board of PSA, in
charge of the mechanical activity and services division of Peugeot until 1998.
After being appointed member of the executive committee of Faurecia, he became EVP, group development, from 2000 until 2010.
He has been VP, operating officer of FIEV (French automotive component industries association) since May 2010 and a member of the steering committee of CLEPA since December, 2012.
“I look forward to tackling the challenges ahead, be they urbanisation and demographic change, environmental protection or trade competition, while enhancing cooperation with our partners throughout the world,” said David-Beauregard.
“Strengthening the competitive edge of the European automotive suppliers industry is my main priority.”
