Current
Australian Peugeot distributor Inchcape Automotive Australia has agreed that
the new importer, Sime Darby, will take over on Monday, 1 October 2001.

The announcement means that Sime Darby will handle the Australian launches
of the 607, 206 CC and 307.

At the end of June, Australian Peugeot were up 34% (454 units) over the same
period last year.
