Robert Bosch has extended the bidding term for its planned take-over of Australian brake manufacturer Pacifica until 25 February, according to reports.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is expected to rule on the $A298.5m deal on 8 February, local reports said, noting that German and US authorities have given the green light.
Pacifica supplies the Australian car manufacturing industry and export markets and specialises in aluminium brake callipers which are seen as selling well for Bosch in the US if the take-over proceeds.
