Asbury Automotive closes heavy truck business sale

US dealer group Asbury Automotive has closed the sale of its International, Hino, Isuzu, UD, IC Bus and Workhorse franchises to Rush Truck Centers of Georgia, a subsidiary of Rush Enterprises.

US dealer group Asbury Automotive has closed the sale of its International, Hino, Isuzu , UD, IC Bus and Workhorse franchises to Rush Truck Centers of Georgia, a subsidiary of Rush Enterprises .

Asbury also announced the close of the sale of its Peterbilt franchise, which includes a dealership in Kennesaw, Georgia, to Peterbilt Motors Company , a subsidiary of PACCAR .

“With the closing of these two transactions, Asbury has fully exited all of its heavy truck operations,” the company said in a statement.
