Johnson Matthey (JM) says Chief Financial Officer, Anna Manz, has decided to leave the group after almost four years and will join London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as CFO and a member of the LSEG board.

Manz will leave JM and step down from the board on 20th November, 2020, the day after the publication of the company’s interim results.

A process has started to identify a successor to Manz and an appointment will be announced in due course.

“Anna has made a significant contribution to JM since she joined us back in 2016,” said JM chief executive, Robert MacLeod.

“Her absolute focus on efficiency and strategy execution has already delivered tangible benefits and she has played an important role in creating the strong foundations to drive efficiency and growth in JM for many years to come. Most recently, her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic helped secure the company’s financial strength in unprecedented times.

“Anna has shown great passion for our purpose to use our science to create a cleaner, healthier world and she leaves a strong team and capable finance function.”
