Brose says Andreas Jagl will assume responsibility for the Group’s Interior business division effective 1 March, 2021.

Jagl succeeds Sandro Scharlibbe, who is leaving the company at his own request.

Around 8,000 Interior business division employees at 24 locations in 12 countries develop and manufacture seat systems and components for more than 50 automakers. The division expects its business volume of EUR2bn (US$2.4bn – 2019) to grow substantially during the next few years.

Jagl started his career in 1992 in disposition/logistics at vehicle manufacturer, Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke. This was followed by leadership roles in Europe and the US at automotive suppliers, Johnson Controls, Polytec Group and Adient, among others.

Before joining Brose, Jagl was GM of Yanfeng Adient Seating. In his new role as EVP Interior at Brose, he will also be responsible for the East Asian market. Brose Group CEO, Ulrich Schrickel will oversee sales at the group level.

“Sandro Scharlibbe’s foresight helped drive growth across departments and divisions in the Brose Group,” said Schrickel.
