There were just two world premieres at the 2017 Canadian International Auto Show.

The AM-RB 001 had not been previously seen at a motor show, even though the so-called ‘hypercar’ was announced by Aston Martin in March 2016. Images of a scale model were revealed to the media three months later. The AM-RB 001 is to be collaboration with the Red Bull Formula 1 team’s Adrian Newey. A total of “between 99 and 150” road cars will be built, as well as 25 track cars, the firm had stated in previous press releases.

Hyundai was the only other brand to have a world premiere at the Toronto show. The Canadian importer revealed a version of the Chinese markets’ latest Verna which went on sale there last November. In North America, as is the case with the current generation model, the name will be Accent. The vehicle will be new for the 2018 model year in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
