Visteon’s IT hiring activity rises 15.4% in April 2022

US-based company Visteon’s IT hiring rose 15.4% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.55% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 50.57% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 3.98% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Visteon IT hiring in April 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Visteon, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 90.08% in April 2022, and a 73.53% rise over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 4.58% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 45.45%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 2.29% in April 2022, a 40% drop from March 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Visteon

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in April 2022 with an 85.5% share, which marked an 80.65% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 8.4%, registering an 8.33% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 6.11% share and a 27.27% drop over March 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with an 85.5% share in April 2022, an 86.67% growth over March 2022. Spain featured next with a 4.58% share, down 25% over the previous month. US recorded a 3.82% share, a decline of 54.55% compared with March 2022.

Mid Level jobs lead Visteon IT hiring activity in April 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 77.1%, up by 260.71% from March 2022. Junior Level positions with a 20.61% share, a decline of 48.08% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.29% share, down 40% over March 2022.
