The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 25.52% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 17.3% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 2.16% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Valeo IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Valeo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.47% in August 2022, and a 38.27% rise over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 27.11% in August 2022, and registered growth of 32.35%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 2.41% in August 2022, a flat growth from July 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 56.02% share, which marked a 6.06% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 30.72%, registering an 1175% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 9.64% share and a 33.33% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.61% and a month-on-month increase of 200%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 40.36% share in August 2022, a 23.86% decline over July 2022. Germany featured next with a 13.86% share, up 2200% over the previous month. China recorded a 12.05% share, an increase of 81.82% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Valeo IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 44.58%, up by 51.02% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 39.76% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 15.66% share, up 100% over July 2022.
