Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 79.52% in September 2021, and a 24.53% rise over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 7.23% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 14.29%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.23% in September 2021, a 500% rise from August 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber
North America emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 59.04% share, which marked a 40% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 27.71%, registering a 27.78% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 13.25% share and a 10% rise over August 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 59.04% share in September 2021, a 40% growth over August 2021. Philippines featured next with a 13.25% share, up 10% over the previous month. Romania recorded a 13.25% share, an increase of 10% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.08%, up by 55.26% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.07% share, a growth of 15.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.84% share, down 25% over August 2021.
