Out of the total IT job titles posted by Tesla, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65.81% in May 2022, and a 4.05% rise over April 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 12.82% in May 2022, and registered growth of 66.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.82% in May 2022, a 16.67% drop from April 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Tesla

North America emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in May 2022 with an 83.76% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 13.68%, registering a 128.57% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2.56% share and a 78.57% drop over April 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with an 83.76% share in May 2022, a flat growth over April 2022. Netherlands featured next with a 9.4% share, up 266.67% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead Tesla IT hiring activity in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.52%, down by 5.95% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.93% share, a growth of 21.74% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.55% share, down 16.67% over April 2022.
